Hello, my name is Jessie.

If you’re reading this, I do hope you show this to Filiz Gassmann. I was brought in for an interview on May 19, at the main headquarters for your company in Deerfield Beach. All went well and then I came in for a second interview on May 20 th only to find out working for this company would be a mistake... Your CFO, Filiz Gassmann told me I had to be groomed at all times and she said it while staring me down… She was rude and offensive! I may not have had expensive work clothes on, but I was dressed professionally. In addition, she asked if I would be ok serving coffee, which is no big deal, but then told me my job was to get lunch prepared as well. For $12/hr. it sounded like she was looking for a servant! She then asked me if I had taken the time to look at her website online. I apologized for not doing so and then stared at me like she just witnessed an earthquake… She was very condescending. You could not pay me enough to come work for someone so egotistical. Instead of worrying about hiring a perfect Barbie doll, maybe you should seek advice from HUMBLE people and learn how to treat people. You are a smart lady, but you are not smarter than me.

Sincerely, relieved worker

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Location: Boca Raton, Florida

Ok, so you didn't like the CFO, you didn't like the pay and you didn't like the sound of the job duties. Here is what an adult would do: thank the person for the interview, leave, go home and continue to look for a job.

Trashing the interviewer on a public website is quite childish. While you didn't want the job, I'm sure there were plenty of others that did!

You should not even be posting your woes about your potential employer here. This is for consumers only.

Newly grads have this sense of entitlement that honestly baffles me. Be thankful for the job opportunity you just blew because you think you are smarter than your employer - A woman with a million dollar company.

Excuse you! Who died and left you in charge of this website?!!!

People can post complaints about anything they like here at PISSEDCONSUMER and they don't need your approval or validation to do so! Got it!

No one cares about you or your company! You've lost your credibility, honey!

Just curious, was this interview for an actual admin position with an hourly wage, or was it for 100% commission only, door to door sales?

I have personally met Feliz and have found her to always be kind and understanding. I also am employed by them and they have always been more than fair.

A lot of people would be grateful to serve lunch for $12/hr. Your intention was to slander a good person because you have self esteem issues, however anyone who has read your comment will get another message entirely. While reading this I and the other persons in my office believe you probably showed up for work not groomed or well dressed and have a massive lazy streak.

An attitude of entitle is also most unbecoming. The general tone indicates that you're main issue was having a job to do for your money, welcome to adulthood.

Your response sounded like you copied a page out of a "Interviews for Dummies", book Treat people with respect and always know that you are no better or more worthy than the homeless woman at the soup kitchen or the cashier at McDonalds - no different in Gods eyes, that is.

The purpose of this response is to further elaborate on the series of events regarding the complaint of a dismissed interviewee:

HYLA U.S. Corporate Headquarters administrative personnel posted an ad for a position as CAREER-MINDED ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST (Corporate Headquarters Deerfield Beach) http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/ofc/504479****.html.

The ad clearly indicates the search for a career-minded individual with a PROFESSIONAL PRESENTABLE APPEARANCE, which candidates know NOT go to a 1st or 2nd interview in beach attire such as flip-flops or sloppy apparel. Presentation is vital as you only get ONE chance to make a 1st impression.

If there is an opportunity for a 2nd interview, the candidate must NOT walk in 5 minutes late as done, but should arrive 15 minutes early to display eagerness for the opportunity. Make mental notes during the initial interview and if it’s recommended to read company website to familiarize yourself with the business, it’s for a reason as it will be part of the interactive process in testing skills, intellect and assessing strengths.

Unpreparedness displays lack of interest moreover motivation. Being informed and educating oneself in advance allows room for conversation and interaction so less relative discussions can take place aside from making coffee or willingness to participate in company-sponsored luncheons.

Opportunities are only for door-opening individuals that are willing and eager to learn valuable lessons in life while expanding horizons!
