Iโve had my Hyla for a little over a year and itโs been a good air purifier which is mostly what I bought it for. I live in an old house that gets dusty easy so I like for it to run quite a bit but it likes to turn on by itself. Iโm just wondering if this is supposed to be happening or are my ghosts trying to tell me something?
Clearly, you are just here to talk ***. Hose is getting clogged?
Hook the hose up to the reverse side to blow out any debris. Dont like the smell?
Then use a different essential oil in your basin. You just come here to talk *** on something you know nothing about.
Haha, the hyla is about as Good of a system there is!
the hyla is costly but worth every penny. I cleaned homes for almost 15yrs and am very anal about certain things.
yes it is a pain to lug around, nasty to clean the canister but that shows what is coming out of your home. and if it smells its because your not empting it after every use or your not cleaning it good. the effort is worth the reward. I purchased it because my son is totally diabled after a accident, next to his airflow bed it is the best purchase I have ever made.
my mind is totally blown every time I empty it and I am a anal housekeeper. rebelspirit :zzz :)
Sorry for you experience but this does not sound like our product. You can call us at 954.571.5550. If you would like.
The only kind of people who don't like HYLA CLEANING systems are LAZY PEOPLE AND DIRTY PEOPLE,LOVE MY HYLA BEST CLEANING SYSTEM EVER!!!!!!!!!
these people must work for hyla fly by night scam NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY FALL FOR THIS SCAM 2400 dollars and dont even pay your employees it is just a pyramid scam they change company names just a bunch of ***
I purchased a HYLA about 6 mos. ago and love it.
I am asthmatic and have severe allergies. I grew up with my parents using the Rainbow vacuum which is the same concept except you didn't use it as an air purifier also. I know that if I run the Hyla 45 minutes a day, as one should, I do notice a significant difference in the amount of dust that accumulates in the house. As a child using the rainbow, I hated it because you had to empty it, rinse it out, etc...
But the outcome is worth the time.
It is pricey, however, you get what you pay for. I love it!!
I love what my hyla does, but the whole unit is just so cumbersome...very heavy and takes up a lot of storage space...But it picks up pet hair, sand, all kinds of hidden particles like crazy....
Of course water that includes all kind of dirt and bacterias will stink after some time. Doesnt matter if its a Rainbow or Hyla vacuum or any other vacuum. If the dirty water gets dumped after vacuuming the benefits of water vacuums outperform by far regular vacuums that blow dust every time they are used
I have HYLA and hate it, stinky ewwww I don't know about Rainbow but will definitely search for it, heard its since 1936?
Donโt be so lazy! Dump the water as soon as youโre through vacuuming and rinse the tank.
Donโt leave it sit around. Do you leave the dirty water in the sink overnight after washing dishes?
This is a very good vacuum cleaner and does an excellent job of cleaning. There is non better!!
All vacuum cleaner in house demonstrators use the exact same tactics and have since the old electrolux days. There is nothing new under the sun. Cheers!
and about that stink from the canister...just as previous commenters have said "clean it after you're done", you won't have that problem. Just goes to show what's being picked up....bad bad stuff.
I've had my Hyla 8 years. Two problems; hose crack and canister crack and both parts got replaced immediately by the company and in a very timely manner.
I didn't mind paying for the parts because I LOVE this thing. I now have to take the head in for repairs because last week *** me accidentally sucked up a huge rubberband (the kind on a punching balloon)....got the rubberband out but the head is making a strange noise, though it is still working great.
Every time I think about getting a different vacuum because my husband hates the way he has to pull the Hyla around (I say it's worth it for the way it cleans) I just look and look at what's out there and I cannot bring myself to do it. My husband still vacuums if I ask, so it's all good.
I bought my Hyla 2 years ago and have never had such a bad case of buyer's remorse. I want to cry every time I look at it!
It cost a fortune plus I had to trade-in my previous vacuum, a Simplicity model which I was very happy with. The tank smells terrible.
I've tried but I can't get the horrible odor out of the plastic. I wish I had my Simplcity back.
What kind of BS is Michael posting? Maybe all the suction he is writing about sucked his last brain cells out of his brain.
Rainbow and HYLA doesn't have any suction, huh? what kind of *** are you posting? I feel sorry for Kirby having such an incompetent guy selling their product. You have obviously no idea what's the difference between suction and airflow! Why are Kirby Dealers removing the filter bag during a Kirby demo?
Correct, because with the filter bag the Airflow gets reduced, that's why they only show the dirt pads. With Rainbow and HYLA there is consistent Airflow, because water has no pores that clog up. You uneducated person even wrote at the end of your *** comment that Airflow (not suction what you wrote in the beginning)is the proper measure of the power of a vacuum. This is of course also wrong, since the power is the combination of suction and airflow and is called air power.
I suggest that you go back to Kindergarden and get a little education. Rainbow definitely don't want a guy like you in their business and I am sure HYLA neither.
573=434-**** Please contact me if ya wanna sell just the bowl.
Hyla.. Where to begin? It's a German Rainbow knockoff that recently expanded to the U.S., a knockoff of the same patent Rainbow bought almost 80 years ago, the same patent that was broken when it was purchased, and was never fixed.
Hyla. Does. Not. Have. Suction. If you want suction, buy a Kirby or a Royal. Other vacuums are badly designed and fail in suction tests. Rainbow and Hyla fly their 'water filter' flags, but Kirby designed that patent in 1904 and there's a reason they never sold a water filter vac. Water filtration doesn't work. Just because you can see some of what you pick up in the water doesn't mean it's all staying there.
As for performance: It's the same as every cleaner. Look at the length of the hose, look at the location of the suction and the blockage behind the brush roller. (Look at the two square inch suction passage, clearly visible behind the brush roller!) It's the same on a Hoover, on an Oreck, on a Dyson (even the *** $600 Ball), or the power head on a Rainbow or Hyla (E-brush). If you want a $3000 high-maintenance air filter that sounds like a vacuum cleaner, feel free to buy this. If you want something that's cheaper, better quality (warrantied for life) and more efficient to clean your home with, buy a Kirby, and if you're just concerned with carpet cleaning, a Royal is based off an old stolen Kirby patent and does a halfway decent job.
Want to see what I mean? Call Hyla's customer service and ask how much _AIRFLOW_ (the proper measure of the power of a vacuum) the Hyla "E-brush" has. Count how many times you're transferred before they hang up on you.
The hyla works great. Im sorry that your to lazy to get off your *** and change the water.
It not hard for gods sake dump it in the toilet. Get over yourself and don't be so *** lazy.(:
